CleanText Pro is a Chrome browser extension that respects your privacy. The extension processes text locally inside your browser and does not collect or store personal data.

1. Data Collection

CleanText Pro does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data.

All text processing happens locally inside your browser. No text you paste into the extension is sent to any external server.

The extension does not use:

Analytics tools
Tracking scripts
Advertising SDKs
Remote databases

2. Local Storage

The extension uses Chrome’s local storage API to store:

User preferences
License status
Optional cleaning presets
Recent cleaning history (if enabled)

This data remains stored only on your device and is never transmitted externally.

3. Payments & Licensing

If users choose to upgrade to Pro features, payment processing is handled by a third-party payment provider. CleanText Pro does not collect or store payment information.

When a license key is entered by the user, the extension sends the license key to our verification endpoint to confirm subscription status. No user text or browsing data is transmitted during this process.

4. Data Security

Because all processing occurs locally and no external servers are used, your text and preferences remain under your control at all times.
